Michael Strahan Begging To Return To ‘Live’ With Kelly Ripa?
Michael Strahan is NOT “begging” to return to co-host “Live” alongside Kelly Ripa, despite a made-up tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told it’s “absolutely not true.”
According to the National Enquirer, the former NFL player is regretting his decision to join “Good Morning America” as a co-anchor because he has no clout over at his new gig. A so-called “source” tells the magazine, “Michael thought there would be less politics at ‘GMA’ and he would have more say about the content of the show, but that has not been the case.” The outlet’s dubious insider adds, “George Stephanopoulos and Robin Roberts are the bosses of the show, not Michael. He’s begging Kelly to take him back!”
But Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Strahan, who exclusively assures us the tabloid’s story is “absolutely not true.” The TV personality is very happy with his new job at “Good Morning America,” and the Enquirer’s claim otherwise is simply fabricated. Of course, this bogus report is coming from the same outlet that Gossip Cop corrected for falsely alleging Strahan is the biological father of a 21-year-old “love child.” We also called out the publication for wrongly reporting that Ripa is refusing to hire a new “Live” co-host. This latest tale is equally untrue.
