Michael Strahan Sings “Poison” On Lip Sync Battle With Bell Biv DeVoe (VIDEO)
Michael Strahan pretend sings “Poison” with Bell Biv DeVoe on Thursday’s “Lip Sync Battle.” See the video below.
Strahan, wearing colorful hip-hop clothing from the 1990s, gyrates and gesticulates wildly while lip-syncing “Poision” as the song’s original singers, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, and Ronnie DeVoe, join him onstage. LL Cool J and Chrissy Teigen can also be seen bopping along as Strahan and the reunited group mime the song. The “Today” show’s Hoda Kotb is scheduled to take on her network rival on Thursday’s battle.
As Gossip Cop reported last week, Terry Crews knocked out Mike Tyson with a crowd-pleasing rendition of Vanessa Carlton’s “A Thousand Miles,” a tribute to his role in 2004’s White Chicks. And before that, Anna Kendrick defeated John Krasinski by performing “Booty” with Jennifer Lopez.
“Lip Sync” has quickly become the show stars want to appear on, with Anne Hathaway previously competing against her Devil Wears Prada co-star Emily Blunt, Common outshining John Legend, and Dwayne Johnson crushing Jimmy Fallon with his legendary performance of Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.”
