Michael Strahan NOT Causing Problems At “GMA,” Despite Report
Michael Strahan is not causing problems at “Good Morning America,” nor is Kelly Ripa happy that he’s supposedly creating issues elsewhere, despite a manufactured report. Gossip Cop can bust this claim. We’re told it’s not true.
According to Life & Style, the retired football player and former “Live” co-host is causing problems on the set of “GMA,” much to Ripa’s delight. “Kelly is telling producers on her show that she knew karma would get Michael,” says the magazine’s purported insider, adding that she predicted it would only be a “matter of time” before Strahan and his ego wreaked havoc on his new show.
Gossip Cop looked into the claim, and a “GMA” production source tells us Life & Style’s story is completely wrong. Strahan is not causing problems on the set of the show. Additionally, a mutual friend of Gossip Cop and Ripa’s says she’s never expressed that she’s pleased that Strahan is having (nonexistent) issues on “Good Morning America.” What’s more, a rep for Strahan notes the tabloid’s article is a “fabrication” and “not true.”
This is hardly the first time Gossip Cop has busted the gossip magazine for its inaccurate stories about Strahan. In February, for example, we called out the publication for falsely alleging Strahan and Robin Roberts were feuding on the “GMA” set. And shortly before that mistaken report, Gossip Cop corrected the outlet for wrongly claiming Strahan refused to have Ripa appear as a contestant on his show, “$100,000 Pyramid.” Clearly, the outlet needs better, more accurate Strahan sources.
