Kat Von D At Center Of Mass Shooting Death Threat; Police Hunt For Michael Nunn
UPDATE: Police have reportedly located Nunn “outside of California” and believe that there is no cause to take him into custody, determining that the man had no intention of acting on the threats. The police, however, will continue to monitor the situation.
Kat Von D is at the center of a terrifying mass shooting threat made by a man who vows to get “revenge” on her by launching a Columbine-style massacre. Police are searching for Michael Nunn, a disturbed Iowa man who believes Von D somehow hurt him — and has been tweeting about his intentions to kill people in retaliation.
According to TMZ, on June 4 he tweeted, “You have to understand, Kat, my life is over because of you. Therefore, what would my only reason for living be? Revenge.” He declared that he wanted people to feel guilt over “what I’m about to initiate in a few weeks,” when he threatened to “go Columbine in Los Angeles.”
Among his other threats: “Get it through your f****** head!! Lose the game or watch people die!” and “Your [sic] running out of time and I’m not running out of anger and determination.” There is also video, taken last year, of Nunn rambling about Von D and President Obama (see below). Back in 2012, Von D got a restraining order against Nunn when he allegedly harassed by phone and at her home. It’s all pretty weird and very scary. Gossip Cop will have updates. See the Nunn video below.
