Michael Lohan Rants About Lindsay’s Latest Woes

Michael Lohan is blaming Lindsay Lohan‘s lawyer and “enablers” for the actress’ return to jail today.
Speaking outside the courtroom after his daughter was remanded to jail following the revelation that she failed a drug test, the elder Lohan – who has had his own troubles with the law – said he’s confident Lindsay knows she has a problem, but jail isn’t going to help her.
“Lindsay knows what she needs and what she wants but people are turning a blind eye,” he said.
Lohan explained, “Personally, I feel Shawn [Chapman Holley, Lindsay's lawyer] and the people around Lindsay who are representing her are responsible.”
He also blamed ex-wife Dina for not giving their daughter the support he believes she needs.
“It’s all people, places, and things,” he said. “She’s around the wrong people, hanging out in the wrong places.”
But the father of four also acknowledged his own shortcomings, saying “I’ve made mistakes myself. I’ve fixed them. I’ve tried to help my family.”
When reporters asked why he seemed so angry, Lohan replied, “Why am I angry? My daughter’s in jail. I’d rather be in jail than my daughter today.”
