Michael J. Fox: I Do NOT Want Taylor Swift to Date My Son

Taylor Swift is never ever watching Michael J. Fox’s new sitcom.

After Tina Fey made a crack at the Golden Globes about the singer dating Fox’s son Sam (who was “Mr. Golden Globe”), the actor was asked what he thought about the idea.

He was not too keen on it.

At a book party in New York on Wednesday, Fox told Vulture, “No. No… Just back off.”

The legendary actor asked, “I don’t keep up with it all, but Taylor Swift writes songs about everybody she goes out with, right?”

The blog then questioned Fox on how he would react if his son brought Swift over for dinner, and he responded, “I wouldn’t even know who she was.”

    Not sure what this has to do with the story but there are a lot of celebrities that are just as charitable or more so with their money and/or time. But they do not make such a big deal of it. Just because the Grammys gave her an honorary award does not mean that she is the most charitable. It is actually selfish to except awards for given.

    I don’t blame him. She keeps up with the song tantrums of hers and no celeb other than ones just wanting the publicity will want anything to do with her. She obviously see’s herself as the victim every time and I’m sorry, but after the first dozen maybe it’s time for her to realize she is the problem. Maybe not on all of them, but there are two sides to every story (and they are both usually wrong) and it is unfair and immature for her to publicly vent her side when the guys are gentleman enough to keep their mouths shut.

    A rich person giving to charity does not make them a better person than the next person. They can easily afford it and aren’t giving up anything and it’s a tax write off. And it gets them good publicity, you seeing her as something special is an example of how giving benifits her. Respect the people who don’t have a truck load of money but still give. The people who give their free time volunteering without their picture in a magazine. The people who live in shacks in third world countries helping who don’t have mansions to come home too. They are the ones you should be applauding.

    Can’t see anything wrong in a young person, male or female, dating different people. Better to keep trying, until you find a glove that fits, than end up with an ill-fitting one. It’s wrong to assume that every relationship was physical. I cringe at the song writing inspiration though.

    At least she is not stuck with one boyfriend for 10 yers like Kristen Stewart who doesn’t know when to end her relationship with a lousy vampire who can not even admit to dating her. Taylor has high standards and knows what she wants . She dates like a man. If she were a man nobody woud even noticed that trend, she would be considered “cool” and sexy. Women have different problems, seems.This society in 2012 is still not ready to accept that a female might just have a right to chose a mate, not teh other way around. I doubt that tyalor regreds her decisions.

    People may trash her for writing songs about all of her exes, but she makes millions of dollars a year doing just that — with no signs of that money train slowing down.
    Her music isn’t my “cup of tea”, but she is young, cute and very, very rich. I’m not one to knock success. It only lasts so long for any of them, and she is taking full advantage of it while she can.
    If she wants to date my son, there is a house two doors down for sale…

    She’s talented and successful so it’s time for the little people to start attacking her. If gossips can’t find anything wrong with her, they’ll invent something. She’s a country singer. What do people expect her to write about broken relationships? It may not even be about a particular ex (but if the shoe fits, wear it). All the people who want to judge her, criticize her, and speak about her as if they know anything about her life or outlook, are simply jealous or bitter or need to get a life.
