Michael C. Hall and his wife Jennifer Carpenter have filed for divorce.
The two “Dexter” stars’ split is amicable, according to their representatives.
“Having been separated for some time, Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall have filed for divorce,” the reps say in a statement.
The couple married on December 31, 2008.
On the Showtime series, Carpenter plays the foster sister of the serial killer portrayed by Hall.
