Manda B, Kristen’s out fit was completely by Balenciaga, the company that she represents. The hair, the make up, was intentional. Do you really think these people just go dressed as they please! I think that she looked very pretty! She successfully pushed the fashion envelope!

Beyonce is pretty, her dress is not…

Kristen Stewart and Chloe Sevigny are the only ones really standing out. Some gowns are really elegant but most of them are just evening dresses. Beyonce and Dakota Fanning – big no. Stewart has always looked great in Balenciaga, they usually have magnificent outfits in their collections.

Beyoncé, Cloé Sevigny and Marion Cotillard are the most elegant in my opinion .. the KStew clothes are just awful, horrible, Balenciaga or not, nothing goes with anything, his hair is not combed and looks dull and i guess her makeup was done in a hurry ….

I agree. Kristen’s dress is what all MET is about. It’s about being different, edgy and taking risks. The night is not about evening dresses.

It just shows that you’re a very boring person. Not open to something new. Only stick to what is should be according to your norm.

Again KStew stood out from everyone else because hers is different & unique. A very smart move from her and Balenciaga. Bravo!!!

Manda B, Kristen was there representing Balenciaga, Ashley was there representing DKNY and Dakota has done a spread for Louis Vuitton. While I am sure that they enjoyed attending the event, it was also a business obligation for them. While they might have had input as to what to wear they also had to respect the wishes of the designers they represent.

I love how you can click on a post of a celebrity, in this case timberlake and biel, and yet in the comments section, it’s all about Kristen Stewart. Biggest star in the world after Angelina, baby. The power of Kristen!!

The celebrity’s stylist and the celebrity always have veto power. It’s not like KS is an endentured servant. She can say no to an outfit/look. This ensemble and styling are horrible on her, as they would be on anyone. The skirt length does nothing for her legs. The shoes make her appear to have cankles. The fit of the dress is strange and the leather skirt has sweaty hand prints on it. The makeup is nice but the hair is nothing different than any other day. All in all, KS didn’t go outside the envelope. She just accepted what a designer told her would look good and be edgy. Instead, its ridiculous. She really should have said no and worn something different.

One of the worse gallery I’ve seen for the MET Gala. Feathers & colour block dresses are not exactly the “IT” thing of the month. Goodness me.
The only few people I approved of are, Ginnifer Goodwin, Diana Agron, Jessica Alba (but then she wears Gold pretty often), the guys and Camille Bell.

You people have your head so far up that girl a**, that I can’t tell where you end and she begins. You call that pushing the envelope? I’m not a fashion person, and even I saw that one coming. She has the same messy hair shes been showing for the past 2 or 3 events shes gone to, the top I like, but the skirt and shoes are atrocious, and the whole thing together is just wrong… just wrong. There are many ways you can pull the fashion envelope, but it take a very special person to pull it off right, and she ain’t it. At least not yet. Whoever choose her for best dresses woman has got to be pulling of their hair right about now. I’m sorry, but it’s true, and you would see it too if you hadn’t, like I said, your head so far up her a**.

You are entitled to you opinion and I am entitled to mine. However, you are not entitled to be insulting. Even though I would not have chosen the outfit, I did feel that she looked pretty. Her hair was probably done intentionally that messy way. I am an older person, who happens to like Kristen, I have followed her career prior to the Twilight frenzy that she is caught up in. I have the right to like who, and what I please. By the way my husband also thought that she looked very pretty.

You have absolutely no idea what a great outfit is. Like you said yourself, you’re not a fashion person. I couldn’t agree more. If Balenciaga stylists and designer decided that this will look great on her, well, they do it for a living, they’re the experts here, not you. Balenciaga made sure Stewart looked absolutely outstanding, no wonder she is representing the brand. And , YES, modern, edgy, brave outfits like this are made for women like Kristen Stewart. Kristen is 22, she looks fresh, at ease and natural. There are enough Barbie dolls for you to put your head up their asses if you want to.

Yes, I’m not a fashion person. I use old tennis shoes and jeans, I don’t like to wear skirts or dresses or high heals (who ever came up with that idea should spend the rest of their lives wearing them. See how comfortable they are). Yes, I may not know if that is from last season, or who is wearing whom, but I do know the difference between OK and ugly. Last year, I believe she wore Balenciaga too, and she looked great. This year not at all (still better then anything lady gaga wears, I’ll give you that)… and you think that’s fresh and young? You think that modern is wearing something that looks like it was made in 5 minutes out of plastic bags? I’m 23 and I wouldn’t wear that. And I pretty sure my grandmother has a skirt very similar to that one. About the barbie doll thing: you complaint about barbie dolls, but that skirt look fine to you? They are both made of plastic. Just because I don’t like your idol Kristen, doesn’t mean I like barbies either. But hey, I give you one thing: Barbies definitely have gorgeous clothes.
But like it was said, everyone has their opinion. It’s my opinion that just because something has a label, or because your favorite celebrity wore it, doesn’t make pretty. And I’m sorry if I offend anyone. Definitely not my intention (I’m not the most subtle person with words either. Sorry!)

Nina Dobrev looks nice, although I feel like I’m watching a rerun. She always looks very pretty, but the style of the dresses are always very similar. Kristen Bell Looks very innocent, I feel like pinching her cheeks xp. Florence Welch… well, she does know how to capture your attention =) Anja Rubik.. there is a little dress on your skin… ^o)
Rachel Zoe – isn’t she a stylist or something? That dress doesn’t look good in her, at all… Does she have any health problems? She really look skinny. WAYYYY skinny. I don’t get why some think that girls this skinny (or even more) look beautiful. It just looks scary to me, and it’s even more scary what some girls are willing to do to look like that =S
