Oh the poor dear looks just like her mother – most unfortunate

With a last name like Gummer – wouldn’t you think Meryl would have given her a pretty first name. I had a great aunt named Mamie and it was a nick name for Marie. If Meryl’s daughter has Marie as her first name she really ought to use it. If I was her I take my husband’s name. Marie or Mamie Walker is much better. Meryl kept her last name.

I have the upmost respect for Meryl and her family. She raised very responsible children. No Hollywood nightclubs and acting all trashy for the paps. Kudos to her!!!

I actually think Meryl was quite strikingly attractive in her day as is her daughter now.

Hey Brenda, People who yell “hey” at people they don’t know are usually ignorant hicks. That being said, I’m entitled to my opinion about people who pursue a public life and announce the details of their private affairs to the public. And how do you know she is nice? You sound like a narrow minded moron.

I actually saw her in ” The good wife” and she is not bad at all.
And she is not that bad looker either.

Meryl with whom I am acquainted through her parents Mary and Harry is an unusual beauty that makes her most interesting. Nothing pedestrian about her, including that she has a great sense of humor and humanitarian. Congratualtions to Meryl and Don for raising a beautiful family. You have done right by them.
