Meredith Vieira bid farewell to the “Today” show this morning, ending her five-year run as the show’s co-anchor.

Vieira’s colleagues Matt Lauer, Al Roker and Ann Curry (who will take over for Vieira), along with her husband Richard Cohen and dog Jasper were all on hand for the send-off.

Vieira told viewers her decision to leave was “right, but hard,” and “Today” co-host Lauer called her departure “bittersweet.”
