Melissa And Joe Gorga NOT Facing Foreclosure, Despite Report
Melissa Gorga and her husband Joe Gorga are NOT on the brink of losing their New Jersey home, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can bust this rumor.
According to Star, the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” couple is in jeopardy of having banks “repossess [their] home.” A so-called “source” close to Melissa and Joe is quoted in the tabloid as saying, “The Gorgas owe back taxes on the house in Montville [N.J.] of roughly $22,000.” The supposed family “insider” adds that outside of filming several times a year for the Bravo reality show, the couple doesn’t have a “viable source of income.”
The tabloid’s “source” goes on further to say, “The little bit of cash Joe is able to rake in, he quickly spends on a spec home in Franklin Lakes that he’s building. He hasn’t put a penny toward the tax bill, and now it’s catching up with them.”
Joe and Melissa Gorga are not about to lose their house. A rep for the couple denies the Star story, saying it’s not true, and vehemently maintains the Gorgas are not facing foreclosure on their New Jersey home.
