I don’t think any of them was right, but the only one I can see with any future is Chris Rene. I believe the 2 contestants with the biggest futures are Rachel and Astro.

I saw the results earlier here and another site, but decided to watch the show anyway (it was broadcasted later in my region).

AND I was glad I watched it. The best reality talent finale show I ever watched!! It was FANTABULOUS!!!!! I thorougly enjoyed it; the guest performers were all brilliant and entertaining, but THE BEST performance was that of LEONA LEWIS! THE VOICE! the poise! the face!…..I want to imprint on her….. oh oh, can girls imprint? hahahahaha.

Anyway, the show was excellent, the drama, the judges, the fierce competition. The X Factor is a much better show than American Idol. CONGRATULATIONS, MELANIE AMARO!. Well deserved, I say. Well done, Josh! Well done, Chris!. I wish you all a bright future ahead.

lol after watching many American talent shows it seems that where the contestant comes from is what directs most of the votes – not the ability of the person – it also appears that the voters are not always purchasers of the music which is why so many winners of these competitions do not got on to have the best careers. Melanie may have won but 15yo rappers and 13yo disney stars sell far more cds than church singers.

Josh was the more worthy winner. More musically talented, (i.e. not merely a voice), and way more original. (Also seems more genuine). … I mean, let’s face it, the single reason why Melanie won was because of her “Jesus-pushing” … We all know how Christians rally behind fellow Christians (especially in the US !), helping to make their dreams come true, all merely to perpetuate the illusion for themselves that there’s a God that makes dreams come true. … The whole “Jesus-pushing” was so obviously staged and orchestrated purposely. (Probably suggested by Simon, who’s not stupid, and well aware it was probably the only way Melanie would get the needed votes to win).
~ I mean don’t get me wrong, Melanie certainly has a good voice. BUT zero uniqueness, not an ounce of originality to it unfortunately. She sounds like countless others. Who’ll be able to tell her apart ?? If I really wanted a “Mariah or Whitney album”, then I’d buy one from them, thank you very much. ;o)

I think she’ll do fine in America but she’s no Susan Boyle and in 10 years’ time I don’t think she’ll be the most popular of the contestants – I’ll be very surprised if she is. I think putting up $5m for the winner is a bit careless cos history shows that the best one doesn’t usually win. I know Simon will do his best with her but I bet he’s got his other 2 girls well and truly signed up as well.

Julz you should slap yourself already … If she believes in God that much then more power to her and she had won this cause she had alot of fans to support her and YES i was one of them not because of her strong belief in the man up above but because of her voice and her uniqueness .. as for Josh that guy should have been gone along time ago! i hated him from the start (a waste of space) he wasnt good at all if anything Astro should have still been there because of the fact that he would make up things to rap from the top of his head (now thats talent) but he messed everything up for himself for acting like the little kid he is when he was in the bottom .. and as for chris rene he was good sometimes but Melanie was the real one that deserved it no matter what you guys think or say haha she already WON BiiTcHeS!!!!! wHoOoOoO
