Mel Gibson Dodging Daddy Duty?
Mel Gibson is NOT going to avoid daddy duty when his ninth baby arrives, despite a ridiculous tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
“Mel Dodges Diaper Duty!” blares a headline in this week’s Star, which claims girlfriend Rosalind Ross shouldn’t expect her “60-year-old baby daddy to be of much use” when their baby is born. After Gibson recently joked to an entertainment TV show, “I’m too old to get nervous. Or change nappies,” the tabloid magically found a so-called “source,” who told it, “He has been very upfront with Rosalind. She’s on her own with this one.”
What’s more, the magazine’s questionable “source” further claims, “Mel loves being a father, but he’s also spent the last 36 years of his life raising children.” “He told Rosalind that he’s not going to be dealing with dirty diapers or waking up in the middle of the night to console a crying baby,” adds the publication’s supposed insider.
Actually, it’s quite the opposite. Gibson’s rep laughed off the tabloid’s allegation and assures Gossip Cop the story is “not true.” In fact, we’re told he relishes every aspect of being a daddy. Of course, this is not the first time the magazine has published an inaccurate articles about the actor. In January, Gossip Cop called out the tabloid for falsely reporting Gibson was proposing to Ross. Nearly a full year has passed, and the outlet remains wrong.
