Mel Gibson‘s visitation rights will NOT change, a judge decided today.

The judge didn’t seem to believe that Gibson posed any threat or danger to his daughter.

He will still have the same visitation rights he had before with his (and Oksana Grigorieva‘s) daughter Lucia, as well as an overnight a week with the little girl.

The judge seemed to have been swayed by Gibson’s ex-wife Robyn‘s declaration that the actor was never violent or abusive to her and their kids during their nearly 30-year marriage.

Mel Gibson will retain visitation rights with baby daughter Lucia for the time being, according to a report this evening.

It’s unclear how long a continuation of the status quo will last, however, as the star’s very public legal battle with Lucia’s mother, estranged girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva, becomes uglier.

The actor-director is allowed daytime visits and one overnight per week as per an agreement both parties ratified earlier this year, according to TMZ.
