Mel B. And Victoria Beckham Feuding Over Spice Girls 20th Anniversary Reunion Tour?
According to this week’s OK!, Beckham “has agreed to appear at select shows on the Spice Girls’ 20th anniversary tour,” and a “furious Mel is threatening to boycott if Posh gets special treatment.” A so-called “insider” is quoted as saying, “Mel thinks Victoria is stuck-up and says she’s got to either do the whole tour and perform with the rest of the girls as equals, or steer clear.”
The story goes on to claim, however, that Beckham “only wants to sing ‘Wannabe’ with the group at the end of each show.” The supposed source snipes, “It’s like Posh wants to be singled out as the star. But the truth is, she’s the worst singer and dancer of them all!”
And OK! is one of the worst tabloids of them all. The magazine has seemingly been on an anti-Beckham crusade for quite some time now, falsely claiming in September, February and March that she and husband David were divorcing. The outlet was wrong all three times because it doesn’t actually have credible Beckham sources.
Furthermore, it seems OK! only pit these two Spice Girls members against each other because Mel B. did a podcast interview last month in which she said Beckham could be a “bit of a bitch.” Of course, she added that all of them have been “bitches at some point.”
There’s no bad blood here. Heck, there isn’t even an official anniversary or reunion tour, despite what this story claims. It’s just another made-up tabloid feud.
