Megyn Kelly Does NOT Want To Co-Host ‘Live’ With Kelly Ripa, Despite Report
Megyn Kelly does NOT want to join “Live” as a permanent co-host alongside Kelly Ripa, despite a false tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told it’s “not true.”
The Fox News anchor guest hosted the morning talk show earlier this month (see right), and now according to OK! she wants the gig full time. Kelly, who has her own show “The Kelly File,” is in the midst of renegotiating her contract with the network, but a so-called “source” tells the magazine she’s “been looking to segue out of news for a while now.” The outlet’s dubious insider adds, “She’s told her agent she wants to be considered for ‘Live.’ The timing would be perfect, and she could bring along her following from Fox News.”
A rep for Kelly, however, exclusively assures Gossip Cop the tabloid’s story is simply “not true.” We’re told the newswoman is happy at Fox and with hosting her own show. Of course, we’ve had to correct many tall tales surrounding Ripa’s ABC talk show, so this latest fabrication comes as no surprise. Gossip Cop recently busted OK!’s sister publication, Star, for wrongly reporting that Ripa was “refusing” to hire a new “Live” co-host. There was no truth to that claim, and the same goes for the outlet’s latest one.
