Meghan Trainor: Harry Styles And I Wrote Love Song “London Lights”
Harry Styles and Meghan Trainor are making sweet music together. The two musicians have collaborated on a song called “London Lights,” Trainor confirmed in an interview with BBC Radio 1 on Tuesday. She said they recently wrote the “cute acoustic love” song on her ukulele. There are no details, however, about when the song may be released.
Trainor noted that she was “very impressed” with Styles, adding, “He’s a very, very talented songwriter.” Styles, of course, has penned songs before. He wrote the popular One Direction track “Night Changes,” which is on the band’s new album Four.
The “All About The Bass” singer admitted that at first she was “worried he’d just be a 20-year-old boy, so I walked in with a prepared verse and chorus.” Instead, said Trainor, she was pleasantly surprised. “He gave me very poetic, mature lyrics,” recalled Trainor, who said she told the One Direction heartthrob, “Well, damn, Harry, you know what love is.”
Trainor also talked about being nominated for her first Grammy. “All About The Bass” is up for Record Of The Year. She said the nomination is “a dream come true; it’s the last dream I had on my list.” What do you think about Harry Styles and Meghan Trainor collaborating on the love song, “Someday Maybe”?
