REPORT: Megan Fox Competing Against Lindsay Lohan for Elizabeth Taylor Role

For the role of Elizabeth Taylor in an upcoming TV movie, Lindsay Lohan has some serious competition.

Megan Fox is reportedly being considered for the part, too.

While Lohan is still in talks for the film, which examines the relationship between Taylor and Richard Burton, producers have also been in touch with actresses including Fox, reports E!

Production is expected to begin this spring.

Lohan’s availability for any film project, of course, is dependent on completion of her probation.

She has her second check-in with Judge Stephanie Sautner on Tuesday.

    This casting is a bit off. Taylor was not in her twenties when she was with Burton. These folks are too young. I won’t even start with the talent part.

    based on talent, lindsay has shown herself to be a very good actress, people like jane fonda and meryl streep have said the same about lindsay. i think the advantage lindsay has is that she can take a lot of her own experiences and bring it into the role.

    Megan Fox is not a good actress, so she shouldn’t even be up for the part. As far as Lindsay goes, she was once a really good actress but she hasn’t been in anything in so long that it’s hard to judge how she would be for the role.

    Oh, please. Elizabeth Taylor is probably rolling over in her grave hearing one of these two might play her in a movie! Both these trashy women don’t DESERVE the right to play such a great lady. She had more finness and greatness in her little finger than these idiots could ever think about!

    Kristen Stewart would be better than both of them; however, far more expensive to hire.

    Lindsay Lohan would be better than the role. Lindsay has had some problems much like how Liz did and might have more of an image for it. I do like Megan too so I’d be happy if either one has it. Funny how this happens though, I remember a ‘competition’ thing going between them for the Carrie remake but it was probably a rumour.

    Kate Winslet should be the only one portraying Ms. Taylor on any screen. However, I vote hands down for Megan Fox she is beyond beautiful Lindsay is too washed up although I would love for her to make a comeback just not in this role.

    I keep seeing people say Kristen Stewart and I don’t understand why. She has a hard enough time trying to put on her own personality and she just doesn’t have the acting ability to even try to play Liz. Linsay would be a good choice, though I do think they could find someone better and a little older to play Liz in this film.

    UM… it’s a made for TV movie wouldn’t that be a step back for either actress. I’m a fan of both of them but I like miss Lohan better. But either way I’m not going to watch it because I don’t give a crap about this story. Through some aliens, space ships, & scantly clad women in it then I’ll watch it.

    not a fan of neither one but I have to say lindsay lohan is a talented actress, plus all that drug addiction, issues with the law, drama in her life make her very hollywood legend like!!!

    Megan fox on the other hand is more like a talentless, photoshoped trailer park version of angelina jolie…. lt megan fox pose for men magazines and things like that, she’s not actress material.
