Megan Fox: Acting “Isn’t My Job Anymore”

Say goodbye to Megan Fox, the actress, and hello to Megan Fox, the mom.

In a new interview with Marie Claire UK, Fox — who welcomed son Noah with husband Brian Austin Green in September — says acting “isn’t my job anymore.”

“My job is to be with him,” she tells the magazine, adding, “All I wanted to do my whole, whole life was have a baby and, now, I’ve finally done it.”

Now Fox wants ”to give Noah as much of myself as I can,” noting, “I’ve never been validated by work or fame or Hollywood or any of that.”

And motherhood has affected more than just the movie star’s work schedule.

“I can’t watch the news anymore. Everything makes me cry,” reveals Fox. “Because everyone is someone’s child, every woman seems like someone’s mother. I have so much more patience for people and women in general.”

As for life with Green, whom she first began dating at 18 years old, Fox doesn’t seem to regret committing at such a young age, telling the mag, “Maybe it’s just because I don’t know any different.”

“I believe he’s my soulmate,” she says, adding, “But that doesn’t mean it doesn’t take work, because we are very, very different.”

    SUUUUUUUUURE! Michael Bay is a tyrant and a disgusting trash, but the WOMAN who revealed it publically gets the HATE! So much for woman empowering! Of course you are a woman-I can recognise the symtoms!
    Just cause she isn’t starring in a franchise doesn’t mean she’s no more an actress. She is just saying that her priority is her son (of course is a surprise in HW) and her profession comes in 2nd place.
    After Transformers she could have done LOTS of trashy things to keep her FAMOUS and she didn’t. She chose small projects for the peace of her mind!
    I didn’t liked her during that time – she tried too hard to sell the image that MB wanted her to sell! It tells me that the bastard had his claws on her at the time – she changed drastically her lifestyle after that! I respect her, cause you need guts to do that and SHE DID IT! I think her life gained balance since she left Transformers!
    PS: Not the best actress, but I liked the carachters she played afterwards, she can evolve

    Incase you haven’t noticed they PROMOTED the whole Transformers 3 on her back and she publically said that she was going to watch it!
