No Brainer: ‘Megamind’ is Box Office #1

The Will Ferrell-Brad Pitt animated feature Megamind leads a trio of new releases to the top of this weekend’s box office.
Megamind took in $47.7 million for the #1 spot.
Coming in second with $33.5 million is Due Date, starring Robert Downey, Jr. and Zach Galifianakis as an odd couple on the road.
Tyler Perry‘s new ensemble drama, For Colored Girls, nabs third place with $20.1 million.
In fourth is Red with $9 million, and Saw 3D comes in fifth with $8 million.
Rounding out the Top Ten are Paranormal Activity 2 ($7.4 million), Jackass 3D ($5.2 million), Secretariat ($4.3 million), Hereafter ($4.2 million), and The Social Network ($3.3 million).
