“Mean Tweets” Movie Edition On “Jimmy Kimmel Live” – WATCH VIDEO!
A movie edition of “Mean Tweets” featuring Seth Rogen, Kevin Hart, Jessica Chastain, and more stars aired on Thursday’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” Watch below!
As Gossip Cop has reported, “Mean Tweets” is one of Kimmel’s most popular segments. The bits feature stars reading aloud the cruel, awkward, uncomfortable but hilarious things strangers have posted about them on Twitter. Kimmel’s crew has rounded up a number of special installments, from NBA-themed during the playoffs to music-focused after the Grammys earlier this month.
But with the Oscars this weekend, the latest version was all about stars from the big screen. Among the celebrities who participated were Patricia Arquette, who won an Academy Award just last year, Taraji P. Henson, Richard Dreyfuss, Susan Sarandon, Zach Galifianakis, and more. Rogen’s tweet even referenced another actor.
“Convinced that Seth Rogen is really just Dustin Diamond with a 150 extra pounds on him,” Rogen read aloud, stifling a self-deprecating laugh before cracking, “Oh man.” Chastain’s tweet invoked a fellow star, too. “Jessica Chastain looks like Julia Roberts’ ghost,” she read aloud with an understanding nod. “I like that one.”
Meanwhile, Oscar winner and current nominee Eddie Redmayne had to read, “Eddie Redmayne looks like Denis Leary wearing the skin of Justin Bieber.” Check out the video below!
