‘Dancing With The Stars’ Sixth Elimination, Maureen McCormick Voted Off ‘DWTS’ (Video)
Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev were the sixth pair eliminated from Season 23 of “Dancing With The Stars” on Monday. The pair received the lowest scores from the judges and number of votes combined from last week’s “Latin Night” dances. See video below of their elimination.
Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev, and Jana Kramer and Gleb Savchenko were in the bottom two this week. During “Latin Night” of the dance competition series, McCormick and Chigvintsev received only 31 out of 40 points for their samba. Incredibly, Kramer and Savchenko were also in the bottom two, even though they scored a perfect score of 40 out of 40 points for their Argentine tango. In the end, McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev were the sixth dancing couple sent home.
McCormick and Chigvintsev join Amber Rose and Maksim Chmerkovskiy who were sent home last week. Before them Babyface Edmonds and Allison Holker and Vanilla Ice and Witney Carson were the third and fourth pairs eliminated during a double elimination. The second dancers voted off were Rick Perry and Emma Slater were sent home. And the very first dancers booted from this year’s competition were Jake Austin and Jenna.
