Maureen McCormick Does “Brady Bunch” Routine On ‘Dancing With The Stars’ (VIDEO)
Maureen McCormick and her partner Artem Chigvintsev performed a quickstep on “TV Night” of “Dancing With The Stars” to the theme song of her series, “The Brady Bunch.” McCormick, of course, played Marcia Brady on the hit series from 1969 through 1974. Watch the video below.
During last week’s premiere, McCormick and Chigvintsev danced a Viennese waltz to Mary J. Blige’s “(You Make me Feel Like) A Natural Woman.” The performance, however, received some of the first week’s lower scores. In the end, as McCormick’s TV mom Florence Henderson watched on from the audience, the actress and Chigvintsev scored just 22 our of 40 points.
Henderson was back this week to famously say, “Marcia! Marcia! Marcia!” to kick off McCormick’s performance. For her routine to “The Brady Bunch” theme, Len Goodman felt, “You captured the flavor of the TV show.” He added that her dancing and confidence were “much better” and that her scores would be “better.” Julianne Hough expressed, “You were so much more relaxed… Overall, such an improvement.” And Carrie Ann Inaba liked the “looseness to your spirit.”
McCormick and Chigvintsev received a total of 26 out of 40 points on “TV Night.” Check out the video below of Maureen McCormick and Artem Chigvintsev dancing a quickstep to the theme song of “The Brady Bunch” on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.”
