Maureen McCormick ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Elimination Interview On ‘GMA’ (VIDEO)
Maureen McCormick opened up about her “Dancing with the Stars” experience on Tuesday’s “GMA,” just hours after her elimination. Check out the video below.
As Gossip Cop reported, McComick and partner Artem Chigvintsev were eliminated on Monday’s show after consistently receiving middling and low scores. Following the live broadcast, the duo hopped on a plane and flew from Los Angeles to New York. Now sitting right in Times Square for “Good Morning America,” they reflected on the ABC ballroom competition.
Right away, Chigvintsev copped to slipping on McCormick’s dress during last night’s routine, and expressed disappointment that their final performance had such a mishap. But everyone agreed that the insecure “Brady Bunch” star had improved over the weeks. “I thought I’d be lucky if I survived a week,” she told Michael Strahan. “But I just wanted to give it my all.”
Lara Spencer asked about “tension” between pro and star, leading Chigvintsev to say, “I think we definitely understood each other better towards the last week. It’s a learning process.” McCormick also spoke about working through an injury, as she had two torn muscles that required an epidural.
Now seven couples remain, and next week’s installment will coincide with Halloween. Watch the full interview below.
