Matthew Perry Answers ‘Friends’ Trivia On ‘Graham Norton Show’ (VIDEO)
Matthew Perry appeared on Friday’s “Graham Norton Show,” where he was asked the exact same questions his character on “Friends” had to answer in a trivia contest during a classic episode of the show. See how well the actor remembers the answers in the video below!
One of the more popular episodes of “Friends” featured Chandler (Perry) and Joey (Matt LeBlanc) competing against Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) and Monica (Courteney Cox) to see who knew more about whom. The contest escalated to a point where Rachel and Monica are forced, after losing a wager, to give up their apartment.
During Perry’s interview on the British talk show, Norton asked the actor a few of the questions from the quiz featured in the episode to see if he could remember the answers. “The pressure is on,” Perry joked as he prepared to play the game.
Norton first asked, “According to Chandler, what phenomenon scares the bejeezus out of him?” Perry quickly answered, “That’s Michael Flatley, Lord of the Dance.” The host then asked, “What is the name of Chandler’s father’s all male burlesque?” to which the actor replied, “I actually know that too. That’s Viva Las Gay-gas.”
As to the name that “appears on the address label of the TV Guide that comes to Chandler and Joey’s apartment,” Perry correctly answered, “Miss Chanandler Bong.” But the actor needed a little bit of help with the final question, which was what his character’s official job title was. “Throughout the series, it was never talked about what he actually did,” Norton explained. Perry said, “It was something in computers… I’m not sure.”
Norton then went to the studio audience to see if anyone knew, and sure enough, one superfan did. Watch the “Friends” talk show quiz below with Matthew Perry to find out the answer!
