Matt Lauer chatted with personal finance guru Jean Chatzky about rising food prices on “The Today Show” this morning… but it was his laughter that couldn’t be controlled.

The segment happened to include the phrases “size of the package” and “shrinking the size of the package.”

Lauer couldn’t stop laughing.

“Sorry, something struck me as funny,” he apologized, as he, Chatzky and the crew cracked up.

Meredith Vieira came over to rescue Lauer from his own giggles.
