I do understand that people feel compelled to lie under certain circumstances. Although, in this situation, I see absolutely no reasonable explanation. While our men and women are giving their lives everyday this man chose to make a mockery of it in the name of attention, popularity and misguided sympathy. Whoever the mother of his child is should run far and fast.

There is a gap from the time the contestants try out and when auditions are aired. I don’t understand why AI doesn’t check on these emotional stories prior to airing them. It makes the show look pathetic for running “stories” that tug at the heartstrings, but are nothing but a load of ****.

American idol is nothing but the pity crying show. The reason I stopped watched that show was that I was sick of every crying baby on the stage telling their sad story.
I believe this will cause emotional numbness to human race.
Few more years of those crying reality shows and people will start to laugh
at funerals…..it’s the best way to become cynical!
