Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Surprised To Hear About Fuller House Reboot
Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have broken their silence about the “Full House” reboot “Fuller House,” revealing that they were surprised to hear about the Netflix project and are not sure whether they’ll be involved. The actresses-turned-fashion moguls spoke to Women’s Wear Daily about the big news.
“We just found out about it today,” said Mary-Kate, during an interview conducted on Tuesday. “I guess we’re going to talk to the creators and see what’s happening.” Neither she nor her sister had heard anything about the spinoff before their old co-star John Stamos confirmed the news this week during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”
Ashley told WWD, “I ran into Bob [Saget] the other day and we didn’t even talk about it.” Mary-Kate said, “I’m shocked I haven’t heard from John [Stamos].” As for whether they will participate in the series, reviving their shared role of Michelle Tanner, the Olsens seemed unsure. “I’m going to call [Saget] and get his perspective,” explained Ashley.
As Gossip Cop reported, original series star Lori Loughlin said on Tuesday that only half of the “Full House” cast has worked out deals for the new show, and that there is still some question as to who will wind up on the Netflix reboot. Stay tuned.
