Were together 15 years before marrying. Now after just 2 years of marriage, they’ve split? Am I wrong for saying they should’ve never gotten married? lol

ur right but if they had issues before marriage they probably thought it would solve those issues.. like some couples have kids thinking it would make everything better…

I agree with you. They probably had problems before they made it official. I’m thinking they only married because they felt like it was the next step. After 15 years of dating you decide to marry then split up after 2 years of marriage, there were problems way before this.

When people have dated for such a long period of time, all marriage does is throw a monkey wrench into a good situation. There’s now that unspoken I own you, on behalf of both parties. It speaks for itself, 15 years, no marriage, 2 years marriage, there’s no comparison. They seem to be in agreement as to how to approach this, so no one is injured. I wish them both well, and have a happy divorce.

Two things why after dating for so long did they decide to get married? 2. What changed so drastically in those two years that lead to divorce? To me it doesnt make sense. I would think that if you dated for that long its just like being married. Further, if you did get married after all those years wouldn’t the marriage just be an extension of the long ass courtship?
