Marisa Miller Topless, Pregnant for Allure

Marisa Miller, pregnant with her first child, poses topless in a new shoot for Allure.

The Victoria’s Secret and Sports Illustrated model tells the magazine she’s due “basically any minute,” not that it kept her from stripping down and baring her baby bump (and more).

“I always felt, even before I got pregnant, that it’s better to accentuate your curves,” says Miller. “A lot of women try to tuck their butt in or kind of slouch because they’re trying to hide. Obviously, you can’t suck it in, but it’s important to really show off the belly.”

The pregnancy weight gain hasn’t bothered Miller, who advises, “Embrace everything and all the changes.”

“I had never even owned a scale before, but gaining weight is part of charting your progress,” says the supermodel. “Yes, I was seeing numbers I’d never seen before, but I let go of that because I had a new goal and focus. It’s an adjustment, but it helps having a lot of positive support.”

    First off, I am an artist, and my subjects are usually people. I find the human body and the soul, a beautiful subject. Once upon a time, a pregnant female would bring out sweet protection from all males in her vicinity. You would offer a chair or service, to a complete stranger, but that they were ‘carrying child’ and protected by the community.

    Now we are training men, to think of pregnant women, to illicit a sexual response to them. This is not done with a sense of ‘art,’. How can you tell? Raising the arms or holding oneself. I’ve seen worse pictures (sadly) but this is a part of a horrible ‘trend’ and I am disappointed in gossipcop for promoting, our acceptance of a lack of respect in general, for the nobility of woman.

    @Rose f off celebs have been doing these kind of photos to document their pregnancies for a couple of decades. there’s famous pics from June 1996 of a 7 months pregnant Natasha Richardson frolicking in the ocean with her husband and nobody complained about those. the magazine asked Marissa to pose like that and she accepted
