Marion Cotillard Responds To Brad Pitt Affair Rumors On “Today” Show – WATCH VIDEO
Cotillard was on the morning program to promote Allied, in which she and Pitt play World War II-era spies and lovers. Both before and after the actor’s split from Angelina Jolie, tabloids falsely claimed Pitt had cheated with Cotillard. Gossip Cop busted the allegations at the time.
And though Cotillard herself released a statement to put the rumors to rest, Lauer brought them back up during their live interview. The news anchor said, “As you know, there were headlines generated during the making of this movie between you and Brad, that you had denied. You can’t go through a period like that without learning something, without being taught a lesson, good or bad. What did you learn?”
Cotillard, who appeared uncomfortable as she was put on the spot, answered, “I never take anything personally when it doesn’t concern me. And, uh, so I didn’t take it personally because I had, you know, just nothing to do with this rumors or situations.”
Lauer then stated, “But you didn’t allow it affect your experience in making what is an amazing movie.” Cotillard insisted, “No! No. I mean, I don’t give energy to this. And, uh, it was a wonderful, wonderful experience working such a visionaire director and an amazing actor. So that’s all that matters.”
From there, Lauer turned to a soft-ball topic: Pitt’s French accent. Check out the full video below.
