Marion Cotillard Baby Girl Born, Welcomes Second Child With Guillaume Canet
Marion Cotillard gave birth to a baby girl, her second child with longtime boyfriend Guillaume Canet, it was revealed on Thursday. No other details were announced.
Cotillard and Canet, a French actor and director, have been in a relationship since 2007, but were friends for a decade prior to dating. In 2011, the couple welcomed their first child, a boy named Marcel Canet. The pair co-starred together in 2003’s Love Me If You Dare, and he also directed her in the dramas Little White Lies and Blood Ties. The couple also co-starred in the recent French film Rock’n Roll, which Canet wrote and directed.
As Gossip Cop reported, Cotillard announced her pregnancy in September while also addressing the many false tabloid rumors claiming she had an affair with Brad Pitt on the set of their WWII film, Allied. “Firstly, many years ago, I met the man of my life, father of our son and of the baby we are expecting,” Cotillard posted on Instagram. “He is my love, my best friend, the only one that I need.”
She added, “I do very much wish that Angelina and Brad, both whom I deeply respect, will find peace in this very tumultuous moment. With all my love Marion.” Gossip Cop now wishes Cotillard and Canet many years of health and happiness with their growing family!
