Marie Osmond returns to Vegas with added shows

Just a week and a half after Marie Osmond‘s son jumped to his death in L.A., the showbiz veteran and her brother Donny will return to their Vegas show at the Flamingo Hotel & Casino.  

Donny and Marie are slated to be back on the stage together on March 9, following the funeral for Marie’s son, Michael.

The brother and sister team added five shows between April 13 and 17 to accommodate people who had tickets to the shows that were canceled while Marie grieved.

    Wow, how does one do that after a tragedy like this ?

    They do it because they are professionals, who believe “the show must go on.” It also simply helps to get back to work and/or a routine, because regarless of the pain, life goes on and doing something keeps you from falling into a deep depression or something more serious.

    They probably feel bad about any Vegas visitors who had tickets to see them and weren’t able to, AND the producers of their shows only allow for so much money to be returned.
