REPORT: Mariah Yeater Considered Giving Up Son For Adoption, Recently Arrested

Mariah Yeater, the woman who claims Justin Bieber fathered her baby, reportedly considered giving up her son for adoption.

The 20-year-old is said to have initially mulled parting with 4-month-old Tristyn, now the subject of a paternity lawsuit against Bieber, according to the New York Post.

The paper quotes a family source as saying Yeater was originally indecisive about keeping Tristyn while still pregnant with him.

Other details are also beginning to emerge about Yeater, including a reported December 2010 arrest in Las Vegas for battery for allegedly “slapping” a man in the face.

She pleaded not guilty.

Additionally, Yeater’s stepfather, Anthony Simeonoff, was sued by her mother over a paternity matter in 1997.

Yeater claims a sexual encounter with Bieber backstage in Los Angeles in October 2010 resulted in Tristyn’s birth last July 6.

She’s seeking a test to prove Bieber’s paternity and, if established, enormous monthly child support payments.

Earlier today, Bieber directly slammed the paternity allegations for the first time.

Meanwhile, police may open a statutory rape investigation of Yeater.

    uhmmmm, what her stepfather and mother had between them-HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HER… and arrest? SLAPPING SOMEONE? You know how many women, girls, could get arrested for THAT? The test will not affirm that HE slept with her, only just ending this suit. Far cheaper than employing a team of lawyers, publicists, etc BY THE HOUR to dig up USELESS CRAP about her. As for the Stat. Rape, if they did do it, come on, Justin is hardly the normal 16yo, and if it happened, HIS PEOPLE had to pull her out of the crowd, and they knew full well what was going on. Again, a Tween Idol, hardly the innocent naive 16 yo. But, like I said before, the LA DA seems to like Celebrity Court Scenes… and WASTING MONEY!

    The information about her parents is potentially applicable – that could be where she got the idea that that sort of situation is acceptable. She’s not old enough to be logical. It’s a scientific fact – teenagers’ brains are not fully developed until roughly age 25.

    Actually her mother & stepfather issues have everything to do with it. If it does go to court, they could claim that’s how she got the idea in the first place. If her mother tried to get money out of her stepfather for a child that wasn’t his, then she could see that as a way to get money from Justin Bieber.

    Why wait until now to say something? If it were me I would have said something the minute I found out I was pregnant.
    The bigger point that a few of you missed is what was she doing in Vegas underage and pregnant?
    And above all that I don’t care what someone’s status is she had sex with a 15/16 year old when she was 19 and in CA it’s against the law. Teachers have gone to jail for less, and if the situation was turned around and a 19 year old celeb guy had sex with a 16 year fan who through herself at him you would be chomping at the bit for him to do jail time.

    Statuatory Rape is sleeping with someone more than 3 years your age if you are a minor (16 and under). Selena can’t be prosecuted because 1) Bieber is not 16 or under and 2) She is only 2 years older than him, not more than 3. At the time the child was “concieved”, Bieber was 16 and the mother was 19…3+ years his age, therefore she could be charged with statuatory rape whereas Selena can not.

    Of course if you really want a backdrop to the story that might help explain the maniacal teenage behavior the only clue that might help is the fact that everyone met at a local school in Las Vegas infamous for being the last vestige for undesirables who have already been kicked out of other schools- not that Lacy, John or Mariah are undesirable- they are after all highly entertaining and probably signing 7 figure deals right now with Amazon books to tell their side of the story to the silver screen.

    You can be ordered by the courts to take a paternity test. They can’t/won’t just accept you saying “I didn’t sleep with her” or “That’s not true” or “The child isn’t mine” or there’d be plenty of “men” out there who don’t have to take responsibility.

    I think it’s GOOD he’s going to take a paternity test when he comes back to the States b/c it will finally end this crap once and for all! I think she’s pretty ballsy making these claims if they’re not true. She is probably hoping he will settle out of court & she’ll get a big sum of money but that would make him look guilty. If he takes the test & proves to not be the father she’s gonna be hurtin’ and I hope he charges her with something. People shouldn’t be allowed to get away with that stuff.

    He probably didn’t sleep with her… but none of us know for sure. We can believe it based on who we believe him to be & what he says etc. but we don’t know. I mean what if… WHAT IF he does the paternity test & it comes back positive?! That’d be insane!!
    I think it’s UBER important that he does the paternity test, just to redeem himself if he’s telling the truth. NO he doesn’t have to prove anything to anyone, but he kinda does… he has to prove he’s not responsible financially or otherwise for that baby. It’s sad but true. I’d be disappointed & extremely skeptical if he refused to do a paternity test. If he has nothing to hide & is telling the truth it’s no big deal!! He’ll be back in the USA soon enough to do the test.

    I suspect this isn’t the last time we see something like this in the headlines about Justin Bieber.

    As for Mariah Yeater, if she made the whole thing up for ’15 minutes of fame’ and to try to get some cash, she’ll get what’s coming to her.
