Simon Cowell Confirms Mariah Carey Will Be Part of ‘The X Factor’

Mariah Carey will be joining “The X Factor,” Simon Cowell has finally revealed!

Carey, who is expecting twins in May, has long been rumored to join the show as a judge, but Cowell says the mom-to-be has another role in mind for herself.

“Her idea was to be the judge of the judges, which only Mariah could come up with,” Cowell told DJ  Jackie Brown on her radio show. ”She’ll be involved in some form. I literally adore her. I love her to bits.”

So far, only L.A. Reid has officially been named as one of the judges.
