CLAIM: Mariah Carey’s Pregnancy Is Tearing Her Marriage Apart

Leave it to the National Enquirer to take a happy story and twist it into a “nightmare” – to use their word.

According to the tab, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon‘s long-awaited baby news is “ripping them apart.”

One of the Enquirer’s so-called sources claims, “Mariah is driving Nick crazy with her out-of-control mood swings and weird food cravings.”

“Mariah thinks nothing of waking Nick at 4 a.m. to have him race out to buy medications, ranch-flavored potato chips and Tootsie Rolls,” says the source.

The “insider” then goes on to say that Cannon “finally hit his breaking point” and “yelled at Mariah, ‘Stop treating me like your puppy dog!’”

Adds the source, “They thought that having a baby would bring them closer together. Instead, it’s tearing them apart.”

So, has Carey’s pregnancy really turned her home with Cannon into a “tear-stained battlefield” ?

Not in the least.

Carey’s rep tells Gossip Cop that the Enquirer story is “totally not true.”

On the contrary, Cannon has been nothing other than supportive to his wife.
