Mariah Carey, Bryan Tanaka Did NOT Have “Final Blowout Fight” Over Birthday Gift
Mariah Carey and Bryan Tanaka did NOT have a “final blowout fight” over a birthday gift, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust the story, which makes a number of false claims.
As previously reported, Carey and Tanaka recently split. Now RadarOnline is purporting to know what went down before the breakup and what’s going on now in the aftermath. The “exclusive” is titled, “Inside Mariah Carey & Ex-Boy Toy Bryan Tanaka’s Final Blowout Fight.”
According to the webloid, the former couple’s “final” argument centered around Carey’s birthday last month. It’s alleged that although she “told him not to spend any money on her because she already had everything she wanted in life,” the singer was “upset” when Tanaka did not give her any kind of present. A so-called “source” is quoted as saying, “The fact that he didn’t get her anything, even a card, really set her off.”
But even though the relationship “did NOT end on a high note,” the site contends Carey is now “melting down over the split.” What’s more is that the online publication and its “source” claim the relationship may not “totally be done.” Asserts the supposed snitch, “Anything can happen.”
Sure, anything could. But Gossip Cop spoke with Carey’s rep, who exclusively tells us each claim is “not true.” There was no “final blowout fight” over Carey’s birthday, there’s no “meltdown” over the breakup, and there’s currently no likelihood she and Tanaka will get back together.
It’s also rather rich that RadarOnline is pretending to have insight on the exes after making two major flubs during their relationship. In February, Gossip Cop busted the outlet for claiming Tanaka was demanding a raise for another season of “Mariah’s World” when, in actuality, no second season was in the works. Then just a month ago, the webloid claimed Carey was ready to marry to him.
Not only did Gossip Cop correctly debunk that tale, but here we are weeks later, and the duo isn’t even together anymore. And, as Carey’s rep told us about the bad blog at the time, “They just make sh*t up.” Indeed.
