Mariah Carey: “Yes, We Are Pregnant!”

Mariah Carey has just confirmed on the “Today Show” that she’s going to be a mommy.

“Yes, we are pregnant,” said Carey.

The singer revealed she’s “expecting in the spring,” though she wouldn’t say when.

This is the first child for Carey and husband Nick Cannon, who called the whole process “absolutely emotional.”

And it has been.

Carey acknowledged that shortly after she and Cannon wed, she suffered a miscarriage.

“It was really sad,” said Carey, while Cannon shared how his wife cried herself to sleep for some time.

Now the couple is celebrating.

Congrats to Mariah and Nick for the upcoming arrival of their baby. especially after the heartache and struggles they had to go through to get here. they were perfectly justified in not announcing the pregnancy earlier after her miscarriage and the surgeries and treatment that followed. it’s so nice to see her have a genuine smile on her face again the ones from the end of the E=MC2 Era and all through the Memoirs era looked forced and like she wanted to cry for their loss instead of smile. pregnancy is agreeing with her beautifully
