Mariah Carey is not getting breast reduction surgery to lose weight, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this claim. We’re told it’s “nonsense.”

According to RadarOnline, “Carey is desperate to lose weight, and thinks she can drop 30 pounds just by having breast reduction surgery.” The webloid further alleges that “even though the diva worked out in preparation for her ill-fated wedding to billionaire James Packer, her weight exploded after they split up.” The site then claims that Carey “can’t be bothered to eat healthy and work out, choosing instead to binge on pizza and champagne.” And because she’s supposedly “terrified new boyfriend Brian Tanaka is getting turned off by her thicker frame,” Carey is now going under the knife, contends the often disproven outlet. “Mariah figures breast reduction surgery will knock off 10 pounds, and then after recovery, she’ll have an easier time exercising so she can work off the remaining 20 pounds,” says a so-called “source.”

But it’s all a big fat lie. Carey is not having reduction surgery to lose weight. Her rep exclusively tells Gossip Cop the RadarOnline report is complete “nonsense.” Remember, this is the same repeatedly discredited site that recently claimed Tanaka was demanding a raise for appearing on Carey’s reality series next season. As Gossip Cop noted, the whole tale was made up, and there won’t even be a second season of “Mariah’s World.” Much like that provably wrong claim, the latest article about Carey getting breast reduction surgery in an effort to drop 30 pounds is also a fabrication.
