Mariah Carey Having Baby With James Packer Claim Is NOT True
Mariah Carey and James Packer are not talking about having a baby, despite a new magazine report. Gossip Cop can debunk this claim, which was published in one of this week’s tabloids. We’re told the singer is not looking to expand her family.
According to Life & Style, Carey and Packer would like to have a baby. “Mariah and James have discussed having a family of their own since they began dating,” a so-called “source” tells the tabloid. The magazine’s supposed “source” notes that even though they each already have kids, twins for Carey and three children for Packer, “They both love the idea of having a child of their own together.”
“They’re considering options including adoption and surrogacy,” alleges the publication’s specious “source.” The magazine’s questionable insider adds the 46-year-old “Always Be My Baby” singer has nixed getting pregnant again because she “doesn’t want to wreck her new figure.”
If this sounds familiar, it’s because the tabloid tried to peddle this false report five months ago when it previously published, much like the new claim, that Packer and Carey want “a family of their very own.” Similarly, that old article contended the couple was weighing “options, like a surrogate or even adoption.” But it wasn’t true then, and Life & Style republishing its inaccurate claim doesn’t make it true now.
As Gossip Cop reported back then, Carey herself shot down stories that alleged she and Packer wanted to have a baby. She said her twins Moroccan and Monroe “would be so jealous,” pointing out how they simply “get upset when I pet the dog.” Still, Gossip Cop looked into the allegation again, and we’re told Carey and Packer have no plans to add a baby to their lives.
