Marcus Canty Eliminated From X Factor, Final Three Revealed (VIDEO)

Marcus Canty was voted off “X Factor” on Thursday, leaving three contestants left.

It was between Canty and Josh Krajcik, but the viewers sent Canty home.

After being saved from elimination three weeks in a row, the singer now received the lowest amount of votes in a week where the judges had no say.

The remaining three competitors are Krajcik, Melanie Amaro and Chris Rene.

Last week, Rachel Crow was shockingly voted off the competition show.

    Absolutely. Marcus seems like a great guy and he can sing, but he should have already been gone from the show.

    Marcus is great, but I’m glad Josh didn’t go home. If it had been Marcus and Chris in the bottom two, I’d have liked Chris to go home instead.

    I find it hard to believe Chris is still there. His story is amazing (recovering drug addict) but he is not near as talented as some of the others. Since Drew got voted off, I haven’t been watching much. Guess out of who’s left, Josh should win. He has the most talent!

    I don’t think any of the remaining contestants have the “X factor”. Just a remade Idol show. I can’t believe Chris is still in the running. I just don’t get it. . . .

    Though I love Marcus, he’s really talented, I knew he would be gone. It’s going to be between Melanie & Josh. I’m still shocked Chris is still there.
    He’s lasted this long and I know that he’ll get a record deal sooner or later.

    Id say Marcus was the right one to go. Honestly, Drew should still be in it. I love the three left but in the end I think Melanie is gonna win it all. Im happy Chris is still in, I couldnt vote for him this week because Josh’s second song blew me away.. I had to vote for him. Good luck next week.

    Got news for you people! Chris is not only still in it, but he is very likely going to win. Remember, these shows have very little to do with singing or even performing talent, but rather a popularity contest voted on by young teenage girls.

    And that’s a shame. I was encouraged by this show’s process at first, when it was allowing the “judges” to step in and protect the better performer from elimination. But these four are not capable of doing that, as they, and the ever-changing rules, have demonstrated multiple times. As I said a few weeks ago, a show that utilizes the same set of people as judges AND competing mentors has no credibility whatsoever. Oh well.

    And finally, in my opinion, there are thousands, tens of thousands, of guys out there right now that can do what Marcus and Chris can do. And the majority of them could do it much better. There’s a very much smaller group that can do what Josh can do. And there’s about 5 other people on the planet that can do what Melanie can do. That’s not to say she or Josh could sell more albums than Chris, and that, I think, is what fundamentally “X Factor” actually means…

    Marcus Canty was probably out of everyone was the Entertainer of the show he put on a show like a Usher type artist and he can sing… Now i knew he was going home when i found out there was no save me song. only reason Chris Rene is on here still is because he has alot of fans because out of the last 5 contestants that went home he wasn’t better at singing or rapping then them but he would be a good recording artist i like his Material i guess.
