Mandy Moore appeared on Thursday’s “The View” to talk about “This Is Us” and Tangled. Watch below!

As Gossip Cop has reported, the ABC talk show is filming in Disney World this week. Moore, of course, famously voiced Rapunzel in Tangled, officially making the actress-singer part of the Disney princess family. And making the appearance even more special, it was revealed Moore actually made her TV debut on “The View” almost 18 years ago.

After viewing the throwback clip, Moore shared, “I kinda feel like the same person. I feel like I approach my work the same way. I hope I treat people the same way. But I’m also, you know, 32 years old. I’ve been married and divorced. I lived a life. So I definitely feel different.” The talk show also showed a preview from next week’s “This Is Us” season finale, which prompted Moore to say, “I can’t give too much away.”

“The episode is actually just Milo [Ventimiglia] and I. It’s another standalone episode, so you meet Jack and Rebecca before they’re Jack and Rebecca,” she teased, explaining that the show will also continue its ongoing storyline with Jack struggling as his wife goes on tour. “Their marriage is fractured, and she’s on tour, and they’re trying to figure it out and find their footing again.”

Moore also amusingly confessed that her biggest critics are related to her. “I had to get super-defensive with my parents a couple weeks ago, because they’re huge critics of the show… They’re highly critical of some of the choices that my character’s made. For some reason, they don’t understand that I don’t write the show.”

The star went on to discuss Tangled: Before Ever After and “Tangled: The Series,” calling Rapunzel the “dreamiest role.” She asked, “What little girl doesn’t dream about being a Disney princess?” Moore also discussed that other Mandy Moore, the acclaimed choreographer of La La Land, and played the Disney-themed game “Name That Toon,” which hilariously did not go according to plan.
