Mandy Moore And Ryan Adams Announce “Respectful, Amicable” Divorce – SEE STATEMENT HERE
Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams are divorcing, Gossip Cop confirms. We’re told it was the rocker who first filed for divorce. The couple has been married since 2009 and have no children.
In a statement to Gossip Cop, their reps said, “Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams have mutually decided to end their marriage of almost 6 years. It is a respectful, amicable parting of ways and both Mandy and Ryan are asking for media to respect their privacy at this time.”
Last year, Moore provided vocals on two songs on Adams’ self-titled album. She sang backup on the songs “Am I Safe” and “Trouble.” The two previously collaborated on Adams’ 2011 song “Empty Rooms.” Also, in 2014, Moore posted celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary by posting a copy of their marriage certificate on Instagram, along with the caption, “The best 5 years.”
Other than that, Moore and Adams rarely discussed their marriage. In fact, during an interview, Adams once said, “I’m not talking about my marriage ever. I’ll never talk about it… ever.” From the beginning, the couple had been private about their relationship. They even quietly wed in Savannah, Georgia in 2009, just a month after announcing their engagement. It was the first marriage for both of them. What do you think about Moore and Adams divorcing?
