The FBI has arrested a 48-year-old man believed to be behind several videos secretly shot through peepholes of ESPN reporter Erin Andrews while she was undressed in hotel rooms in Nashville and Milwaukee in 2008.
Michael Barrett, who is from the Chicago-area, was picked up by the FBI on Friday night at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. He faces federal charges of stalking for shooting through the hotel room peepholes, and then posting as well as trying to sell the invasive videos.
The half-dozen videos of Andrews walking around naked in hotel rooms popped up this past July and were widely viewed on the Internet.
