Magazine in the dark about Jessica Simpson and “Friday Night Lights” hunk

“Jessica Simpson didn’t waste any time after moving on from musician Billy Corgan,” reports the Star, which goes on to claim, “She’s been quietly connecting with Friday Night Lights hottie Taylor Kitsch.”
Huh?
The supermarket tab reports that the two were introduced by Simpson’s best friend CaCee Cobb and her boyfriend Donald Faison. “Jessica had a bunch of people over for pizza and beer, and Donald brought his pal Taylor,” says a so-called “source,” adding, “They ended up talking all night, and it’s gone from there.”
That same unnamed “source” says, “He’s very sweet and constantly tells her she’s gorgeous… Getting all this attention from such a hot guy is doing wonders for her ego!”
And while that is “sweet,” the Star‘s reporting is sour.
A source close to Simpson laughed off the story, and confirmed to Gossip Cop that the two are NOT dating.
