Mag Leaves Reality Behind with Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston Vacation Drama

When we last checked in on Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston, the not-together non-couple was having “amazing” (completely fictional) sex.
So now is there trouble in paradise?
Butler went out partying in Rio de Janeiro, and “he certainly didn’t seem to have Jen on his mind as he got cozy with a bevy of women,” reports Life & Style in its piece, “Gerard Leaves Jen Behind.”
Here’s a theory: Butler didn’t have Aniston “on his mind,” as the tab says, since they are NOT romantically involved.
They worked together. They’re friends. That’s it.
The tab claims Butler was seen “cozying up” to former Playboy cover model Rita Guedes and strolling on the beach with Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls. Oh, and he was also “spotted” with soap actress Thaissa Carvalho and supposedly leaving a club with model Beatriz Coelho.
We get it: Gerard Butler hung out with several women on his trip to Brazil.
What does any of this have to do with Jennifer Aniston?
Well, despite her insistence that she and Butler are just friends, “seeing him getting close to a slew of ladies… had to be rough,” insists the tab.
No, it had to be “rough” on the media outlets that keep trying to put Aniston and Butler together. Especially for Life & Style, which resorts to running old, out-of-context Aniston quotes about how Butler is “unpretentious” and “fun” as evidence of her “strong feelings” for him.
Gossip Cop has said from the start that there is nothing romantic between the actors.
And nothing has changed, no matter how Life & Style spins it.
