Madonna to Release New Album in 2012

Madonna is set to release a new album in the spring of 2012, her first since 2008′s “Hard Candy.”

While promoting W.E. in Venice, she told a Swedish TV show that she’s already done a “little bit of work” in the recording studio, and that she’ll continue working on it in New York through the end of the year.

Madonna said she expects the first single to be released in February or March, and the rest of the album to come out later in the spring.
