Madonna’s new “Truth or Dare” perfume is already sparking controversy.

ABC has reportedly deemed a commercial for the fragrance to be too racy for broadcast and requested that it be digitally altered.

The 30-second black-and-white spot shows the pop star in her underwear and declaring, “I’m a bad girl!” on the soundtrack.

According to the New York Post, ABC has ordered that the video be edited to better obscure Madonna’s cleavage and butt.

A rep for the network tells Gossip Cop in a statement, “We do review all commercial material to ensure it’s appropriate for a mass audience and is scheduled in appropriate time periods.”

Take a look at the ad below and tell us whether you think it’s too hot for primetime.

If you can’t sell records based on talent, may as well try to do it with “controversy”.

She’s my moms age, which makes her trying to be sexy gross.

@Regina you must be a teenager if you think a 53/54 year old trying to be sexy is gross it’s not homo sapians are sexual creatures it’s part of our DNA to want to be in a romantic relationship. this perfume ad is harmless think about it the fragrance is called Truth or Dare did you expect a tame commercial to advertize it even the ads for Ralph Laurens Romance show a couple horseback riding and in some cases on the same horse and the woman is in Lacy Langerie while the man is in jeans and a t-shirt

  • Regina1180

Actually no I’m not even close to being a teenager. But yes it’s still gross when I think that this could easily be my mom. You need to stop taking yourself so seriously.

Are you Kidding me?!?! Beyonce’s add for her perfume “HEAT” was WAY more sexual then the Madonna one! I see nothing wrong with the Madonna add at all! Beyonce was in a see through red dress that was undone to her belly button and she was running an ice cube all over her tits! Yes, her Tits were as exposed as much as they could be with out showing bare nipple! This is just so sill and fu@ked up that they do this just beacuse it’s MADONNA!

I don’t think its any worse than Victoria’s secret commercials. Not worth banning in my opinion.

Ewwww madonna please stop embarassing yourself!! please the whole “Bad Girl” thing is stupid!!!!

I do not understand why Madonna is so desperate for attention that she needs to be acting like a 20 year old. It’s sickly, she is 50 something years old. She is a mother to a young girl, does she not think that this could be embarrassing for her children. If she is trying to market herself to a young audience then I think she is fighting a losing battle. She needs to accept that she has had her time with fame. There is no need for all of this over the top sexing, the youth are not interested in seeing an old women, wearing very little clothing and trying to maintain her youth by dating men, young enough to be her son. It’s gross and it screams of a women going through a crisis about her age. Also, she maybe should consider not filling her face with so many fillers and botox that she looks like a pillow face statue. She isn’t fooling anyone, she still looks as old as she is.

It all depends on how sexy the woman is. Someone can walk naked and it won’t look sexy, even if she is beautiful, and someone can take off a few clothes and looks sexy. It’s innate, one has got it or hasn’t.

  • whatever!!

Humans!!!! what a funny bunch!!! why judge? Wait til u’re 50 or even younger,..ur body ages but ur spirit remains young! Although I’m not her biggest fan I do think she looks pretty good. Not the point..why is it that older men can be in “sexy” parts (movies.ads, music etc), yet if a woman who isnt under 30 is called gross!!? Woman/men can be “sexy” at any age.
Lady gaga is this generations Madonna (if shes SMART enough to last as long) but she’s not sexy, just a little more out there than other “artists” in this day & age. I do get that Madonna seems to be grasping at straws to stay alive in this industry, but only because of ppl who are closed minded and ignorant to think you have to be 20 something to be hot!!

this isn’t France being topless or showing too much boobie is socially unacceptable, why this is an issue is unclear.
I am curious however how “The Muppets” (Disney) feel about Madonna and Lady Gaga being sued multiple times for copyright infringement and the claims (which are also multiple) from artists/creators that the corporate moguls and labels which adventitiously support them have “ripped off” or abused the rights and works of others to make money but causing loss, insult and lack of credit for original artists oft times political activists. Being that the plot line following “The Muppets” current movie involves a wealthy business owner wanting to remove or step on and take from the unsuspecting innocent area’s of something what could otherwise be forgotten…..out of greed.
Beware of liberal packaging and the ways of trendy vampires they want to more than to just put on a song and dance routine while using gay people to make them look good.

MILF, if you think she is “gross” because of her age you’re either 1) lying or 2) gay. Hell I know gay guys that would take a run at her. If you just find her unattractive because of her looks that’s one thing, but saying she is ugly because of her age is immature. She has a better body then 90% of the women her age and probably 50% of ones half her age. And with age comes wisdom (that includes sexual wisdom), I’d bet she could suck a golf ball through a garden hose.
