Madonna Booed and Called “Slut” At Paris Concert, Bottles Thrown (VIDEOS)

Madonna’s concert in France on Thursday ended with boos and slurs.

After the singer performed just 45 minutes at Paris’ l’Olympia, the crowd began chanting “salope” – the French word for “slut” – and throwing bottles onstage.

The fans, many of whom had camped out overnight for tickets, were furious that the show — a last-minute and more intimate addition to her “MDNA” tour — was much shorter than her other performances.

A number of concertgoers, who paid hundreds of dollars for their seats, continued their protests outside the venue, yelling “remboursez,” meaning “refund,” while others took to Twitter to complain that the abbreviated performance wasn’t worth the price of admission.

Gossip Cop has reached out to a rep for Madonna, but has yet to hear back.

Check out the videos below of the crowd’s reaction.

Holy shit, these people need to chill out. She added a stop last-minute for you and decided to give you and intimate concert and this is what she gets? If you wanted to specifically see the MDNA Tour, go to where she’s actually performing the show.

  • Naz

Disagree. While they shouldn’t have gotten agressive and abusive, why the hell should they be happy about paying through the nose for a much shorter concert?

She isn’t performing out of the goodness of her heart, she’s in it for the money. Her wage comes from her fans so she should be giving her all to make them happy at her own concerts.

Intimate doesn’t equal short and a lack of value for money.

i get that was a last minute show..that was suppose to be a “intimate” show…but an intimate show doesnt have to be shorter..and i have a feeling these people paid if not the same price as a normal show, close too it. i’d be pissed too.

  • Cic

People being outraged by her like it’s 1985 all over again! LEGEND!

  • Danny

I know that, but people still wanted it so she decided to bring it and give a different kind of concert to them, and not the normal MDNA show. It was a last-minute stop that they knew would be intimate so if they want to see the real show, they should go where she’s playing.

I do get that some wanted to see the MDNA show and spent their money (maybe without knowing it was to be different) and weren’t too happy that they got something different. But for those who did know, they should be happy she even came and wanted to give them a concert that no one else was getting.

    lol

There is never a good reason to support violence or unnecessary bad behavior; however, these entertainers need to understand that fans are spending hard earned money to attend these concerts and no one wants to feel cheated. Shame on you Madonna! You’re paid for professional services, you should start acting like one. REFUND THE MONEY period.

  • Nycole_brooks

hey, if a woman wants to act like a slut, she shouldnt be suprised when ppl respond to her as one. i mean, what did she expect? ppl to applaud her disgusting antics???

  • D. Martin

Agreed. She makes money from the people who buy the tickets. They are her customers. If the customer is not happy then you refund the money. Or she could put on another – longer – concert for the people who had tickets. Make them feel like they are getting their monies worth. It seems like she’s had a lot of controversy on this tour…

why can’t we dislike comments. First of all she was two hours late, she performed only 45 minutes people were not informed of such a short duration for the concert and third, she left without even saying goodbye or anouncing the end of the concert. If that is not some kind of disrespect for the fans then the french are wrong. But if had been in such a concert i think i would have been very mad and disapointed.

  • Greg

I was there. Actually my problem is not the duration, though I would have appreciate half an hour more, cause the (short) performance was pretty nice. What really pissed me off is that she did no repeat, she left the stage after “Je t’aime moi non plus” without saying even “thank you good night” or anything. She just left! Rude I think, especially for the people who camped there for days before the concert. Janet Jackson came a year ago at Olympia and I was there to. The show was short as well (something like 1h15) but she was with the public, smiling, she thanked us and wished us good night at the end. At the time I was quite sad too cause I felt the concert was a bit short. But what I saw and heard yesterday night after the concert I never experienced before. I think that if she would have sing maybe one more song (say Celebration) and thanked us again with the good night, all this wouldn’t have happened.

Madonna seems to love to provoke the people as usual. (By showing her breasts, crosses, black Jesus in one of her video clips.) But, she really needs to know that her fans needs respect for they buy her tickets of her shows and her albums.

I do condemn the use of throwing bottles. It only shows the lack of respect as well.

I don’t Dislike Madonna even though I find her annoying at times. But I do find this funny

  • Mauricegravelle

I understand that this was a much shorter version of the actual concert, but still, she could have at least performed for more than one hour. You know, after 30 years of Madonna, she’s had her glory, fame and fortune … now it’s time for her to pay back her fans.

  • anna

screw that They paid just like everyone else to see her she should be thanking them. they paid there hard earned money to see her old ass

If I was suddenly able to buy a book that I’d been waiting to read but couldn’t, before then, have it available to me, then I paid full price (or more) for the book, then found out, while reading it, that the last half of the book was missing, I’d want a refund. So too should these good folks get a refund.

“she decided to”give you” an intimate concert? WHO GOT IN FREE? SHE’S MAKING
MILLIONS AND CONTINUES TO DISRESPECT THE AUDIENCE.
It’s way beyond my understanding why anyone still wants to pay her to insult them.

  • Brenda

Just REFUND the people’s money. At least pretend to have some class.

  • Daenerys

I’m proud to be french for once.

  • Jennifer

Can’t imagine why anyone would pay $10 to see granny pants and saggy boob flashes, let alone hundreds of dollars. The woman is embarrassing.
