Madonna to Buy Nightclub?

“Madonna To Own Club,” reads the headline of a piece on Perez Hilton.
After noting that Madonna opened a Hard Candy Fitness center in Mexico City, the bad blogger writes, “Now the pop singer wants to buy [a] stake in The Aura Group, which owns several nightclubs such as Aura Mayfair – the London hotspot she was recently spotted partying at.”
Perez adds that Madonna “plans to put her own spin on the venue,” and even quotes a so-called “source” as saying, “Madonna sees it as a natural move. She has ambitious plans.”
He then notes, “She’ll be rivals with her ex-husband Guy Ritchie, who owns The Punchbowl pub in the same city.”
Really?
No.
A rep for Madonna tells Gossip Cop that stories about the singer buying into the club business are “totally untrue.”
